In this project - I made minor tweaks to the design that will help the client utilize this space as they age in place. l removed the one piece shower unit & half of the privacy wall. Installed custom tile shower & pan with zero egress with a linear drain. I added decorative grab bars in the shower and toilet space. You will also notice a hidden recessed shelf for toiletries and a foot rest for shaving. Kept the existing oak vanity, but replaced the countertops with new sinks and faucets.

A majority of the items used for this bathroom were in stock at your local big box store with the exception for the cultured marble countertop and tub surround. A nice neutral sheet vinyl still is a valid option to help maintain your budget on material and labor.

COMPLETED GALLERY

Bells & Whistles!!! In this bathroom we utilized space between studs in the wall for a large medicine cabinet & jewelry storage. We also implemented a tilt out tray in both vanities. The mirrored medicine cabinets have built in lights for make up application. Check the additional recessed niches in the shower!!
